Historian and broadcaster David Olusoga discusses his multi-award winning book, Black and British: A Forgotten History. Published to accompany the BBC2 series, the book explores the longstanding relationship between the British Isles and the people of Africa.

Drawing on new genetic and genealogical research, original records, expert testimony and contemporary interviews, Black and British investigates Roman Britain, the medieval imagination, Georgian London and beyond.

In conversation with Corinne Fowler, author of Green Unpleasant Land: Creative Responses to the British Countryside’s Colonial Connections (Peepal Tree Press).
