LGBT+ History Month aims to promote equality and diversity at the University of Leicester and for the wider community. 2017 is a particularly significant year, as it marks the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality.

As part of the month long celebration of diversity in the UK's most diverse city, we are hosting a series of events to raise awareness and educate on matters that affect the LGBT+ community. From film screenings to research seminars, we’re sure you’ll find something that interests you!

All events are free and many are open to the public as well as students and staff of the University of Leicester.
