The result was a runner-up prize for Akang Ekpenyong-Akiba (Department of Molecular and Cell Biology) for her presentation "Towards Cellular Spring-cleaning".

Sameer Kurmani

The overall winner was Sameer Kurmani (Department of Cardiovascular Sciences) for his presentation "Blood Cells Chew the Fat: A New way to Treat Heart Disease?". Sameer will now go on to represent the University at the national 3 Minute Thesis semi-finals to be held later this year.
