Students meeting with course repEvery year, the University of Leicester hold elections for Course Reps throughout the institution. This is an interactive event which relies fully on students' participation and dedication.

The role of a course rep

A Course Rep will represent students on their course for all manner of academic related issues - giving each student a "voice" for their course and an official route through which opinions and concerns can be raised. Being a Course Rep bestows a range of responsibilities that will enhance your personal and professional development. It gives you the chance to develop specific leadership skills giving you that extra edge worth talking about when faced with competency based questions in interviews.

A number of awards and accreditation can be earned through being a Course Rep, which will help increase your employability.
