Digital Learning Environment (DLE)

The University’s Learning and Teaching Strategy has a commitment to transform how we deliver the learning and teaching experience. A key priority for this commitment is to deliver an enhanced digital learning environment that supports and integrates with new academic policies, practices, pedagogic and the technology landscape.

Role of the DLE Steering Group

The DLE steering group will provide strategic, delivery and implementation direction and governance for the delivery of Digital Learning Environment on behalf of University Leadership Team (ULT) and Academic Policy Committee (APC). See the governance structure of the Digital Strategy.

The steering group will:

  • Set the vision for the DLE, defining the purpose, objectives and scope of the DLE programme
  • Act as the programme board for the DLE Programme, guiding, defining and commissioning projects that will deliver the required digital capabilities and associated changes in order to realise the outcomes that will achieve the DLE Vision
  • Undertake University wide stakeholder engagement and high level alignment activities with other institutional change initiatives
