ARRIVE Guidelines

The NC3Rs produced the ARRIVE (Animal Research: Reporting of In Vivo Experiments) Guidelines to improve the reporting of research using animals – maximising information published and minimising unnecessary studies.

The 3Rs arrive Guidelines

Download a copy of the ARRIVE Guidelines.  ARRIVE 2019 has not currently been peer reviewed but an explanation and elaboration of ARRIVE 2019 is available to view.

The NC3Rs have provided specific examples for each point of the guidelines, the examples given are from a wide range of research using a range of animal species. For further information go to the NC3Rs website.

The University of Leicester would expect that the ARRIVE Guidelines were followed by scientists in the preparation of publications and other outputs.
