The Burgess Legacy

A site dedicated to Professor Sir Bob Burgess’s 15-year tenure as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Leicester. Professor Burgess retires at the end of September 2014. This site will be updated with more material during the course of Professor Burgess’s final year as Vice-Chancellor.

Professor Sir Bob BurgessProfessor Burgess joined the University of Leicester in October 1999, after which followed 15 years of dedicated service that has secured Leicester’s position as one of the leading higher education institutions in the UK.
