We offer an exciting menu of primary and secondary programmes for schools, colleges and youth groups. and can adapt these to fit particular curriculum or special needs.

We aim to bring a global perspective to the curriculum, especially in environmental and development issues and we have been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom (LoTC) quality badge and the Growing Schools awards.

Arts & crafts classes

A summary of our programmes for adult learners can be found on the Adult Programmes page. We offer a number of number of field identification courses to help you learn how to identify wild plants, animals and fungi. There are courses for all skill levels.

We can also arrange guided tours of the Botanic Garden and we regularly host a number of independent art groups who hire our facilities. Our collaboration with the Attenborough Arts Centre provides a programme of summer art courses.
