Space Training and Education

The University has links via the National Space Centre to the National Space Academy and the Space Apprenticeship scheme. For further information on links to the National Space Centre please see Engagement and Outreach page.

Space as a theme is present in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study, as well as CPD and research.

Undergraduate

The University offers a number of undergraduate degrees that include Space as a theme and options.
There are four year MPhys and three year BSc degrees in three different combinations: Physics, Physics with Astrophysics and Physics with Space Science and Technology. See the Department of Physics and Astronomy for more information.

Within the undergraduate courses offered by the Department of Geography (BA Geography, BA Human Geography, BSc Geography and BSc Physical Geography) the concepts of Geographical Information Systems and use of digital data are taught. See the Department of Geography for more information.
