Bright Lights: BAME Role Models and Leaders in Arts and Culture

Thursday 30 November 2017, 5.00-7.00pm

60 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1SB

Would you like the arts and culture to reflect our diverse society? Do you know how Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) role models can help us achieve that?

Join us for the launch of The Pocket Guide to BAME Role Models and Leaders in the Performing Arts. Our panel of industry experts will discuss how we can make workforce diversity the responsibility of everyone in arts and culture, and why it is so important to support BAME role models. We aim to spark conversation, inspire action, and provide an open space for networking. Come and have your say!

Featuring:
  • Kumiko Mendle Artistic Director, Yellow Earth Theatre Company
  • Chris Stafford Chief Executive, Curve Theatre
  • Suzanne Gorman Artistic Director, Maya Productions
  • Jonny Wright XYM

The event is free to attend and all are welcome. To register visit https://bright-lights.eventbrite.co.uk
