  • University of Leicester’s The Yellow Book Launch

  • Friday 15 March, 5pm – 8pm, live music from 6pm.
  • Everyone welcome, FREE
  • We’ll be first in line to get our copy of the University of Leicester’s version of The Yellow Book. Our free book is filled with positive mental health and wellbeing art submissions that express ‘I Feel Better When…’ We’ll see the original artworks hung in our Balcony Gallery as we celebrate the launch with live music from Refuge.

  • Join us for a night of music in our gallery. The Inhabited Sky perform durational improvised musical pieces over recorded spoken word inspired by our exhibition Talking Heads. Lie back, relax and stay as long as you like.

  • Join us for a drink and some live music and find out more about a wealth of alternative careers in the creative industries.
  • Be inspired as we Talk Creative with a range of innovative businesses (see programme over page)
  • Network with local and national employers, from Leicester-based SMEs to global organisations
  • Investigate support for business start-ups
  • Explore further study opportunities in creative fields
  • Have a side hustle? Turn your hobby into extra income
  • Why wait? Find out about part-time jobs and volunteering opportunities for students and graduates available right now.
  • The fair is designed with our students and alumni in mind, but everyone is very welcome. It’s more informal that your standard careers fair but definitely no less informative!
  • Plus… Sculpture Live! 4-5.30pm & 6.30-7.30pm
  • Ask our artist and tutor Austin Orwin about making a living as an established artist, creative courses here at the AAC, and get your hands on some of his clay!
