COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

Due to the continued threat that COVID-19 (Coronavirus) poses and the vulnerable nature of some of our patrons, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors to the public from Saturday 21 March. The cafe is already closed.

Attenborough Arts Centre will be closed from Saturday 21 March for the foreseeable future.

Following the latest government announcement regarding the reopening of galleries and museums, Attenborough Arts Centre staff are currently putting plans in place and will continue to monitor the evolving situation to determine when we will re-open.

Though the closure of the centre has given us significant challenges, we’re working hard to manage the impact with support from the University of Leicester and Arts Council England.

We’d like to thank you everyone who has supported us during this difficult time.

We will continue to keep you informed when we have more news. Stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Thank you for being so understanding during this unprecedented time.

If you have any questions, please contact our team at 0116 252 2455 or email arts-centre@le.ac.uk.
