Developing your participatory arts practice In partnership with Pedestrian

Join us for a series of 4 sessions aimed at emerging art practitioners looking to diversify their arts careers to provide meaningful workshop activity for community groups, particularly young people experiencing disadvantage.

Attending all four sessions includes an opportunity to pitch for a small funding pot to pilot a programme of participatory arts activity in partnership with the Attenborough Arts Learning and Outreach team.

  • A session focusing on planning and designing workshops, reflecting and evaluating, alongside safeguarding and data handling best practice.

  • A session for emerging practitioners developing regional sector knowledge alongside core knowledge of selfemployment issues.

  • A session aimed at professional artists looking to mentor other professionals in how to develop their careers, or to utilise mentoring approaches in participatory arts delivery.
