Visual Arts Officer

Full Time, Permanent

Grade 5 (£22,017 - £26,243 per annum)

You will play a key role in supporting the Deputy Director in the devising and delivery of a programme of visual art exhibitions and related events designed to build our audiences and profile, working as part of a team within the Attenborough Arts Centre, partners and guest curators.

Building and maintaining relationships with individual artists to ensure the venue is highly regarded by the artistic community both locally and nationally.

The role requires you to take an open minded and flexible approach to the visual arts, taking on board the viewpoints of others. As a member of a wider team you will be happy contributing in a team environment and must be willing to compromise when required.

The role will require you to take a hands on approach to the installation of exhibitions and be willing to learn and undertake training as necessary. We would expect the post holder to take an active interest in the local and regional art scene and be able to foster good relationships with local artists.

Digital Marketing Assistant

Part time, Permanent

Grade 4 (£19,202 - £22,017 per annum, pro rata)

We are a regularly funded client of Arts Council England, receiving over 110,000 visitors each year. We are looking to recruit someone with a love for the arts. The role has a focus on content production, digital marketing including social media and website development.

You will have the opportunity to help sustain and develop audiences and participants for our courses, workshops, events and other activities, focusing particularly on implementing the digital marketing strategy.

You will have gained experience of marketing and digital social media trends and you will also be experienced in dealing with customers. Having a good working knowledge of Photoshop, Premier Pro or similar is essential along with good IT skills in general.
