Join the Friends and help us keep the arts accessible to everyone.

We are here for everyone who wants to enjoy art or make art.

Currently, 57,000 people are drawn annually to our award-winning, lively public programme of workshops, courses, performances, exhibitions and events.  Championed by the late Lord Attenborough, our new patrons include his son, Theatre Director, Michael Attenborough CBE, Dame Evelyn Glennie, Lord Low CBE, Meera Syal CBE and Grayson Perry CBE.

“I wonder if Attenborough Arts have the faintest idea how important they are to the lives of families whose children, young adults and families have special needs. This place is a jewel and a beacon in our lives, a community in one café, a few studios and a couple of rehearsal rooms!  Thank you.” Annie Bannister – visitor / parent.

Attenborough Arts Centre is about to become even better, as our stunning new gallery for contemporary art opens to the public, doubling our size and increasing our potential to reach into the heart of communities.

Become a Friend and contribute to our innovative programme of performance, contemporary art and learning for all. As a registered charity we depend upon your support.
