Careers and Employability

A degree in Sociology will give you a thorough grounding in key transferable skills, enabling you to choose from a variety of career paths once you have graduated from your degree. The University of Leicester has a dedicated Career Development Service which provides essential career guidance throughout your study.

Make sure you make the most of what the Career Development Service has to offer with opportunities to take part in workshops, 1:1 guidance sessions and Career Fairs. You can also develop your employability skills by taking part in a Leicester Award.
