Brief Biography:

I am a PhD student in Sociology Department at the University of Leicester and a recipient of departmental scholarship.

Research Interests:

In my PhD I research life satisfaction in Europe in the context of current crisis through sociological lenses. My other interests include social statistics, comparative sociology, migration, sociology of health and well-being.

Other Activities:

I have co-organised postgraduate conference New Technologies, Old Methods: Social Science and Digital Worlds conference in October 2015 in the sociology department together with three colleagues from the department. The event was sponsored by the College of Social Science, Arts and Humanities and the Department of Sociology at the University of Leicester. I have single-handedly organised one day conference Well-Being, Society and Crisis Symposium in June 2015 as part of the BSA Regional Postgraduate Events sponsored by the British Sociological Association, the College of Social Science and the Department of Sociology at the University of Leicester. I have invited two keynote speakers (worldwide experts in the field) and managed the event on the day that was attended by 30 researchers from the UK. I am a member of the British Sociological Association and International Society for Quality of Life Studies that are key organisations in my field.
