BSA Regional Postgraduate event “Society and Crisis: Quantitative and Qualitative Evaluations of Societal Well-Being", Thursday 4 June 2015, College Court University of Leicester.

This one-day symposium will engage the participants in critical debate about the effects of current economic crisis on societal well-being. It will address the issues of measuring well-being in the context of recession and explore different definitions of this recently popularised concept.

Two prominent keynote speakers Professor Claire Wallace and Professor Andrew Oswald will contribute to the event and talk about the quality of life and recent evidence about happiness around the world. Presentations from postgraduate researchers and round table discussion offer the opportunity to broaden the view on the well-being definition and approaches used to evaluate it in different contexts.

Full programme and online registration can be found on the webpage.

Please register soon as places on the course are limited. Registration fee includes lunch, refreshments, wine reception and printed materials.
