Rohini Corfield

Rohini Corfield’s career has revolved around supporting diversity, inclusion, and promoting race equality in education and in local communities. With a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from University of Leicester and an MA in Natural Science from the University of Cambridge, she started as a Junior School teacher, but has since focused on supporting schools and colleges in tackling racial discrimination, racial harassment, and developing best practice. She was also instrumental in setting up the BBC’s Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and Equal Opportunities Policy as part of her role as an Equality Officer. For the past five years she has worked with Skillshare International, the National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS) and Spurgeons in the East Midlands. Rohini is currently the Community Champions Development Officer at Voluntary Action South Leicestershire.
