Alumni Mentoring Scheme

The Department of Politics and International Relations successfully held the Alumni Mentoring Scheme Final Event on Saturday 31st May.

The Alumni Mentoring Scheme led by Dr Simona Guerra, coordinated by Andra Paun and supported by the Career Development Service and the College of Social Science has focused on building relationship between alumni from the Department of Politics and International Relations and Media and Communication, and current students from these departments via a mentoring scheme.

During the academic year Andra Paun paired suitable alumni with current students based on employment position of the alumni and employment plans of the current student and monitored the success of the scheme. On Saturday, closing the first programme of the Alumni Mentoring Scheme, Alumni and Students spent the day together and talked of their interests and experiences.

College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities Masters Excellence Scholarships

The Masters Excellence Studentships are available to new UK/EU applicants registering for a full- or part-time, campus-based Masters degree in our College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities starting in the 2020-21 academic year. Four nine-month Masters Excellence studentships are available, each providing a full fee waiver. The deadline for applications is 29 May 2020.
