Observing the Earth and Planets: The Next 50 Years Symposium

Hosted at the University of Leicester, 19-21 September 2011

This symposium was held to discuss near to long-term opportunities and possibilities for space based research in the areas of:

  • Earth observations
  • Planetary science
  • Astrobiology
  • Extra-solar planetary systems
  • Economic and societal impact

The programme for the three-day event included a symposium lecture, keynote talks, summary talks, poster sessions, discussion sessions and plenty of opportunities for networking.
