Biography

Dr Kim Page obtained an MPhys in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Leicester, followed by a PhD in X-ray Astronomy also from Leicester. She has been a member of the Swift team since mid-2004, before the launch of the satellite, and helps to run the UK Swift Science Data Centre based at the University of Leicester. She was also involved in the creation of the 3XMM serendipitous source catalogue, released in 2013.

Research interests

My main research interests are the super-soft source (SSS) phase of novae, and gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), although my PhD was in the field of active galactic nuclei (AGN).
