M Clin Psychol, University of Liverpool

Nearly thirty years working as a qualified clinical psychologist, in Liverpool, Salford, Mansfield, Nottingham and Leiecster. Specialist experience and training in Group Analytic Psychotherapy, creative therapies, and clinical neuropsychology. Practitioner member of Division of Neuropsychology.


Links with other institutions

As an employee of the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, my core role is to manage a group of Clinical Psychology Trainees, all of whom are registered at the University of Leicester to take the D Clin Psych. Links with several NHS Trusts are made in the process of negotiating training placements for the trainees.



  • I act as a research supervisor for D Clin Psy trainees 
  • Topics I have supervised have been: Stroke (3: Post Stroke Anxiety, Spousal relationship changes follwong stroke, Utility of the Distress Management System in acute stroke), Health psychology (1: a change paradigm related to perception and health anxiety), and Unaccompanied Minors (1)
