Many thanks to Rodrigo Quian Quiroga and Emma Gisborn for organising the successful Neuroscience & Behaviour Theme Symposium. Thanks also to our sponsors (WPI; Campden Insturments, GT-Vision, Li-Cor and MCI) and the many helpers from across the Theme. You all contributed to a very interesting and enjoyable day!

I had the pleasure of announcing the Poster prize winners – for which we had all voted over the afternoon - Many congratulations to you all!

By popular vote - The first poster prize went to Emanuele Schiavon and Julieta Campi (poster 22 Decision making in a virtual reality environment for mice)

.. and the second prize went to

Kayleigh Warrington (Poster 3, Ageing and the parafoveal processing of orthographic information during reading).

It was also my pleasure to award the Theme Prize to Doug Barrett for all the enthusiasm and unsung hard work he put into organising and helping our impact statements prior to the REF – he did a great job – thank you!
