We want to inspire the next generation of researchers to get involved and contribute to brain studies. How do we think, listen, what makes us move, feel, what is happening in our brain?

The University of Leicester, together with the DANA Foundation, will be holding a free Brain Awareness event "Brain, Behaviour and Beyond"

We invite A-level and GCSE students to join us at the University for the afternoon on Wednesday 18 March 2020,1.00-4.30pm in our George Davies Centre. Along with talks there will be live hands-on demonstrations and the opportunity to meet current students and scientists. The afternoon is relevant to anyone with an interest in studying neuroscience, including psychology, biology, cell physiology & pharmacology, genetics, health sciences and medicine.

There will also poster displays (from Postgraduate Students and Intercalated BSc Students) and the opportunity to speak to current students, researchers and professors.  Refreshments will be provided.
