Member details

As one of the benefits of membership of Museum Studies Connect, members are able to gain access to other member's professional contact details (with their permission) in order to help make new networks and help our graduates to support each other.

Data provided by members at registration that can be shared includes: name; current job; current employer; e-mail address and areas of museum skill/interest. We imagine that these kind of details might be particularly useful to members who may, for example, move to a new country with no existing professional contacts or perhaps a member may be establishing a new project in their museum and would like to tap into some specialist skills that other network members may have.

This type of information is freely available through the network's LinkedIn presence 'University of Leicester School of Museum Studies Alumni' however, we wanted to make these details also available to network member who may not necessarily wish to use LinkedIn.

If you would like to request some member data for the purposes of professional networking (commercial use of this data and 'spamming' members is strictly forbidden) please send an email to
