I have a degree in Hispanic Studies and a MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have been teaching Spanish as a foreign language in UK for more than thirteen years at a different levels and institutions, including the University of Loughborough and the University of Nottingham.

In 2016, after completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice at Loughborough University, I became a Fellow of the HEA. I am also a qualified teacher for Secondary Education (QTS, for the UK and CAP for Spain).

I am the Year Abroad Work Placement Coordinator and the Spanish Language Assistantship Programme Coordinator.
