Biography

Originally coming from China, I came to the UK to pursue my PhD in American Studies. I made a successful transition to Translation Studies after a three-year maternity break, thanks to a passion for the field and years of translation practice. Before joining the University of Leicester in 2015, I was Lecturer in Translation Studies at Bangor University.

I am currently the Director of the Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies.
