Successes at the 2016 Intercalators' Conference

Last Saturday seven of the iBSc students from the previous academic year presented their work at the Intercalators' Conference at the University of Exeter. Team Leicester came home with two of the eight prizes available.

Last Saturday seven of the iBSc students from the previous academic year presented their work at the Intercalators' Conference at the University of Exeter.

Zhia Lim won a poster prize for her poster entitled "Electrophysiological effects of beta-adrenergic stimulation on pharmacologically induced LQT1&2", and Ben James won a prize for his spoken presentation ‘Can multi-morbid phenotypes be described in patients with advanced COPD using cluster analysis?’

All students did very well, and Team Leicester came home with two of the eight prizes available.
