Summary

Over the three academic years there is no statistical evidence of a relationship between termination and any specific ethnic groups, primarily because any inference of association is limited by the low numbers in several cells. However, the association of gender with course termination is significant (p < .01) being between 2 to 2.5 times higher for male students. The association of self-declared disability with course termination is significant (p < .01.) Ninety six percent of those declaring a disability had a specific learning difficulty.
