Thank you for your interest in the Multiple Mini Interview process for prospective medical school students at Leicester.

At Leicester Medical School we aim to recruit a diverse range of students.  We also aim to present diversity in the range of MMI examiners; please help us to do this by completing the 'about you' questions regarding gender, age and ethnicity.

We will also use this information in statistical returns to the GMC.

Please indicate your availability by Thursday 31 August 2017.  Please do not offer dates if you are unable to commit to them.

We will issue the provisional rota by 30 September 2017.

Work base   Please indicate your principal work place. This will help us to identify possible joint travel arrangements or potential travel problems. It will also help us to locate possible stand-ins in an emergency.






New to MMIs?   Please indicate whether you are new to the MMI selection process at Leicester Medical School.




OSCEs   Please indicate if you are interested in examining Clinical Skills exams (OSCEs) for Leicester Medical School. Your contact details will be passed across but this is not a guarantee that you will be approached to help with the OSCEs.



About the MMIs
Briefing dates   New MMI interviewers are required to complete a separate MMI briefing session. Please indicate your preferred briefing session. Please do not offer dates if you are unable to commit to them.




Number of sessions   Please indicate the number of MMI sessions you are willing to undertake. eg You may be available for all dates but willing to undertake no more than 4.





Availability   Please indicate the dates/sessions for which you are available - before offering dates please ensure you can attend. Morning (AM) sessions are 8:15am-12:45pm; Afternoon (PM) sessions are 12:30pm-5:00pm. Please do not offer dates if you are unable to commit to them.
Equality and Diversity Training
It is a GMC requirement that you have valid, up-to-date, equalities training. You are reminded that E&D training is mandatory in the NHS and for all University employees.

Clinicians MUST provide a copy of a current E&D/R&S certificate or training record, valid until at least March 2018. If we do not hold a copy of a current, valid certificate for you, you will be asked to provide this evidence before you are selected to examine in the MMIs.

University of Leicester employees are required to complete the University's online course via Blackboard.

Declaration
Before your involvement in the MMI process you will be required to sign a declaration that you are not connected with any applicant, eg as a family member or friend. If you do have a conflict of interest and still attend the training/ MMI it may result in the applicant having an offer withdrawn.

By submitting your availability for the MMIs you are confiming that you have no connection with any applicant and that you understand the implications for the applicant if it later becomes apparent that there is a conflict of interest.
