Shobha Das

Shobha Das completed her doctoral studies with the Open University in 1998, further to completing a Masters of Communication and Journalism.  Until 2008, she was the Deputy Director of Support Against Racist Incidents, a Bristol-based anti-racist charity.

Shobha has worked in television scripting/production and interactive multimedia scripting/production in India and lectured at various universities in the UK, and has had her work published in edited collections. She recently completed an MBA with a focus on International Organizations MBA at the University of Geneva, and is now working as Director of Programmes at Minority Rights Group International where she manages a team of activists delivering human rights programmes with minorities and indigenous peoples around the world.
