First Year of Study

Brief Description of PhD topic

As the Middle – Eastern war escalates, Europe faces the responsibility to manage and provide security to an increasing percentage of fleeing population. This often results to a significant number of refugees, being “hosted” in Refugee Camps and/or Immigration Detention Centers. My research focuses on identifying the existence of digital connectivity in such places in favor of refugee’s well-being and understanding the importance of ICT use by people on the move.
