Stephen Wood, Professor of Management, contributed to a British Psychological Society, Division of Occupational Psychology Workshop on Work-life Balance: Towards a Research and Practice Agenda for Systemic Change, held at the Institute of Advanced Studies, University of Surrey, July 5th-July 6th 2010. Wood's presentation overviewed the key research on employer's use of family-friendly practices, including his own work.

You might think that a scene of budding entrepreneurs nervously awaiting their turn to pitch their business ideas is something you would most likely see on the television series ‘Dragons’ Den’, but this time the entrepreneurs are local Leicester students and one of the judges is the University of Leicester’s own Professor Simon Lilley.
