Our next peace talk will be delivered by Dr Isobel Roele (QMUL) and will analyse what ideas of peace, order and security emerge if we read the UN as the product of aesthetic design.

In this Peace Talk, Prof. Pattison (University of Manchester) will consider the ethics of the alternatives to war. The central aim will be to sketch out a moral map of the main alternatives to war.
Conference: The League of Nations
The conference will assess the legacy of the League of Nations and the role of its successor, the United Nations, as a driving force for the development of international law.
Incitement to Hatred: Hate Propaganda and the Preventive Function of the International Criminal Courts and Tribunals
