Research projects

I'm currently writing a book on Foucauldian criminology for Routledge, for which I was awarded an AHRC research leave award and British Academy Small Research Grant. I also wrote the introduction for (with Dr Suzanne Yang), and translated, Dr Biagi-Chai’s book, 'Serial Killers: Criminology, Psychiatry, Responsibility' (Routledge), from French into English.

I'm a member of the editorial boards of the International Journal for the Semiotics of Law, Law, Culture and the Humanities, and Theoretical Criminology, and a founding member of 'Culture/Clinic: Applied Lacanian Psychoanalysis', a journal to be published by Minnesota University Press from 2013. I also recently acted as a consultant to Jean-Stéphane Bron for his documentary on the subprime crisis, Cleveland vs. Wall Street, nominated for the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs at the Cannes festival in 2010.
