Tony Cole Speaks at the 10th Congress of the Arbitration Center of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Law reader presents two sessions at Portugal’s leading arbitration conference.

Tony Cole, Reader in Arbitration and Investment Law at Leicester Law School, was invited to speak at two sessions of the 10th Congress of the Arbitration Center of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Portugal’s leading arbitration conference.  On Day One of the conference he participated in a panel on “Arbitration in 2026”, addressing the future of arbitration, alongside both arbitration practitioners and the President of the ICC Court of International Arbitration, the world’s leading arbitral institution.  On Day Two of the conference he presented the key note speech at the Under 40 session, discussing the “inner workings” of arbitration as a field of practice, and the impact on arbitration of the centrality to the field of personal connections.
