Dr Arabella Stewart joined the School of Law in September 2014.  Prior to her appointment at Leicester she worked as a lecturer and senior lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire.  She has also worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Leicester during, and since, her PhD studies.  She currently teaches European Union Law and Introduction to Law.  She has previously taught a range of subjects including Equity and Trusts, Medical Law, Company Law and Litigation (LPC).

Arabella completed her PhD in the field of European Union Health Law and was invited to present her research by giving the School of Law’s inaugural doctoral lecture in 2008.  Before becoming a lecturer, Arabella qualified as a solicitor in  1993 and subsequently worked in two ombudsman schemes.
