Mrs. Anna Liza Kyprianou has joined the University of Leicester as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in October 2016. She has obtained her law degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens on February 2014. She had also attended the University of Helsinki for a semester as an Erasmus Student during her bachelor studies. She was admitted in the Cyprus Bar Association in March 2015 after having successfully passed the Cyprus Bar exams. Anna Liza has studied her LLM in International Commercial Law at the University of Leicester where she is currently doing her Ph.D.

Research Intersts

Anna Liza’s area of research are in International Commercial Arbitration. She is particularly interested in the theories about arbitration’ nature and the interaction between courts and the institution of arbitration.
