Leicester Graduates Appointed to the High Court

The School of Law is delighted to congratulate two graduates of the University of Leicester on their appointment to the High Court. Nicolas Green is a Leicester law graduate and is also an Honorary Professor of the Law School. He was called to the Bar by the Inner Temple in 1986 and took Silk in 1998. He was appointed a Recorder in 2004. Frances Patterson is a graduate in history from the University of Leicester and in 2012 she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in law. She was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple in 1977 and took Silk in 1998. She was appointed a Recorder in 2000 and a Law Commissioner in 2010.
