Law Lecturer to speak on Improving Access to Justice

Masood Ahmed has been invited to speak on ‘Shaping the Future of Dispute Resolution & Improving Access to Justice’ at the Global Pound Conference (London).

The aim of the conference is to create a conversation about what can be done to improve access to justice and the quality of justice around the world in civil and commercial conflicts. The Conference engages all stakeholders in the field of dispute prevention and resolution worldwide and has been taking place in 40 cities across 31 countries. The Conference will cover all forms of dispute resolution (e.g., adjudicative and consensual processes) as well as possible ways of combining them, and what choices disputants have today for resolving disputes.  It will also look at how to provide access to appropriate justice systems for the future.

Masood lectures and supervises research in the areas of civil justice, dispute resolution and arbitration.
