In the Centre for Interdisciplinary Science the major component of teaching is delivered by teaching dominant lecturers, who hold qualifications in both research and teaching and whose principal focus is on teaching and the development of effective teaching.
Our teaching method generates high quality staff-student interactions, collaborative learning and a strong sense of community, all of which are known to contribute to student learning gains.
