Natural Sciences Teaching Team Win National Award

Congratulations to the Natural Sciences Teaching Team who were announced as winners of a Higher Education Academy Collaborative Award or Teaching Excellence (CATE) at an award ceremony in London on November 1st. The award is recognition of the pioneering work the team has done to develop an interdisciplinary degree programme based entirely on active approaches to learning and authentic assessment practices. The Natural Sciences team was one of only six winners of the award this year. Together with the award, the team has received Higher Education Academy funding which will be used to fund a tour of workshops and seminars disseminating the good practice developed by the team here at Leicester.
