I am a fourth-year Ph.D. research student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the School of Informatics with the Foundation of Computing (FoCo) research group under the supervision of Prof Rajeev Raman. I received a BSc in Computer Science from Ahmadu Bello University in 2011, and an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Leicester in 2014.My research interests broadly fall under the Algorithms and Data structure design and evaluation. More specifically, I intend to investigate dynamic Succinct Data structures to develop, implement and measure new space and time-efficient succinct data structures for massive datasets, and where possible, improve on existing approaches and/or implementations
