Does Open Data Work?

Stefan Kuhn

3rd March(Thursday) 2016, 10:00 in ADR LG26

A case study from chemoinformatics I have been working on a medium-scale open data project for several years. During this time I have experienced the advantages and disadvantages of the open data approach (which is similar to open source in software) first hand. Also I worked with quite a few people from academia and learnt some lessons about this environment. In this talk I want to share some of these experiences and also introduce some problems and algorithms from the chemoinformatics area.
