Student Work, Skills and Achievement

Student Podcasts

Students taking the module Europe 1861-1991: Emancipation and Subjugation, an optional module in our innovative first year curriculum, complete one of their assignments by creating a group podcast. Listen to some examples of the excellent work our students have produced in 2016, showcasing not only their historical knowledge but also their confidence, presentation skills and team-working abilities.

'How useful is the concept of Political Religion when discussing European dictatorships?'

'Was the October 1917 revolution an emancipatory event?'

Student Awards

Every year we award our highest achieving students a variety of prizes, recognising their outstanding achievements in research, overall performance and overall improvement.
