I am a historian interested in the ways that migration is experienced and represented. My doctoral research at the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia) traced the history of migration exhibitions in Australian museums. Following the completion of my PhD in late 2012 I moved to the UK, where I was Visiting Research Associate (2013) and Rydon Fellow in Australian Politics and Political History (2014) at the Menzies Centre for Australian Studies, King’s College London, and a Researcher on Professor Clare Anderson’s ERC project CArchipelago at the University of Leicester (2013-14). My current research project examines the relationship between constructions of health and migrant identity in post-war Australia.
