Biography

Liz has worked across a range of projects looking at efforts to improve patient care in the NHS. The projects have covered a number of topics including pre-term babies, abdominal aortic aneurysms, lung cancer, handover and prescribing practices in hospitals, sepsis, infection control, training for maternity staff, structured education packages for the self-management of type 2 diabetes in primary care, antibiotic resistance and the duty of candour in the NHS. She specialises in data analysis and obtaining ethical approval for the team's research.
