The University of Leicester is proudly hosting the sixth annual Survival Analysis for Junior Researchers conference on the 5th and 6th April 2017.

This two day event, which originated here in Leicester, is aimed at career-young statisticians with an interest in the application and development of time-to-event analysis and related topics. The conference provides a unique opportunity for participants to present and discuss their work with peers at a similar stage in their careers in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The event further includes talks from keynote speakers, Prof Per Kragh Andersen (University of Copenhagen), Dr Therese Andersson (Karolinska Institutet) and Dr Nick Latimer (University of Sheffield) as well as poster sessions and an evening social event.

Who Should Attend?
The conference aims to bring together researchers and statisticians working in different areas of survival analysis who are in the early stages of their career. This includes,
- Career-young researchers and statisticians
- PhD students
- Postgraduate students
Anyone who does not consider themselves “career-young” is also welcome to attend and present their work.
