Teaching

Teaching interests include fundamental methods, epidemiology, clinical trials, evidence synthesis and decision modelling, for both statistical and non-statistical audiences. I have previously taught on the MSc in Medical Statistics including supervision of MSc dissertation projects, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery undergraduate (MBChB) and MRes in Applied Health Research.

I have developed and delivered a number of short courses in collaboration with colleagues from the University of Bristol, including:

  • Evidence synthesis of diagnostic test accuracy for decision making: a 2-day WinBUGS course, NICE, London.
  • Systematic reviews and meta-analysis of diagnostic test accuracy, NICE, London.
